GDPR Compliance
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets a new standard for how companies handle the private information of EU citizens. At Ezalerts Ai, we welcome the GDPR as a positive step forward in privacy regulation.
As outlined in our privacy policies, our sole mission is to help people stay productive. We do not sell, broker, or otherwise monetize your personal information. Because of this commitment, the GDPR has not significantly changed how we manage data, our security protocols, or data storage practices. However, it has motivated us to implement some valuable enhancements.
Here are a few key updates we’ve made to ensure full GDPR compliance:
Privacy Policy
Our updated privacy policy now more clearly outlines what personal information we collect, how long we retain it, and how we use it. Your email privacy has always been a top priority at Ezalerts Ai — now this is reflected even more clearly in our documentation.
Account Deletion
We’ve enhanced our account deletion process to thoroughly remove any personal data, including from our vendors’ systems. A “Delete Account” option is (and always has been) available in your settings, allowing you to erase your data quickly and completely.
Data Export
You can now export your follow-up data directly from your account settings. This provides you with a portable CSV file of your reminders to take with you anywhere. (Please note: Export time depends on the number of follow-ups in your account.)
Signup Process
We’ve refined our signup flow to fully meet GDPR standards — including clearer, more visible consent checkboxes for accepting our terms and privacy policies.
Data Processing Agreements (DPA)
We’ve updated our data processing agreements with all vendors to ensure they maintain the same high standards of data protection as we do. If you are using Ezalerts Ai to process EU customer data, we offer a DPA available upon request.
GDPR encourages transparency and responsible data handling practices. It has opened up constructive conversations with our users and vendors, helping us all stay aligned on how data is managed. We value this openness and continue to improve as trustworthy stewards of the data you entrust to us.
If you have any questions about our data practices, suggestions, or feedback, we invite you to reach out anytime.
In the coming months, we will continue monitoring GDPR enforcement and evolving best practices. Any important updates will be reflected here and in our privacy policy.
